Rooney isn't untouchable. He's had about 5 or 6 good games all season and the rest he has been average at best.

I don't want to get on the lads back, but going to New York midweek is hardly ideal. No getting away from the fact that the travelling and jet lag takes it out of you.

Schmeichel spent Xmas in Barbados in the Treble season as well, the swine.
