Yep.
City winning the League is hardly ideal to say the least. £#%&!ing hell fire.

but, a month ago we had the very real prospect of Gerrard lifting the Premier League trophy, Terry lifting the European Cup and David £#%&!ing Moyes having over 100mill to spend ahead of another season under the corpse.

City winning the Title & us having no Champions League football to look forward to is as good as it could have got during the Moyes reign of hell:shakehead:

Thank god it's over.

i agree that there is the potential for that. they will have more attraction for players now after having a good season and being in the champions league. if like you say they buy well and suarez stays then they could well challenge again. i certainly think they'll finish in the top four and if we get our shit together we'll replace arsenal in that group.

nah.
They're miles away in a normal season. Especially if Suarez £#%&!s off.
Gerrard a year older etc.
They're shocking at the back - worse than us ffs

United & Chelsea didn't even compete for the title this season. That won't be happening again any time soon.

The last month was all quite uplifting. £#%&!wit out, vermin crashing and burning, now we can look forward to the World Cup. The England squad being named the very next day took the sting out of the berts' title too tbh.

What a close shave that was ffs
When they beat City I looked at the fixtures - Chelsea with Cech out injured & the game falling between the CL semi finals + Palace being safe & easing off after a great run - I thought they were home & dry.

The evil curse of the corpse was lifted & they began to fall away. Incredible scenes.
They won't get that close again for another decade.
A scouser gave me that at the end of 92 saying we'd £#%&!ed up and would never be as close again The curse has shit on the @#%&!s, hope history doesn't repeat and shit on us

The fixtures can't fall as kindly for them, they won't have so few games, Pellegrini has a season under his belt, we won't have a soggy flange in charge, Mourinho will buy at least one striker and - if you believe their rhetoric - the Kop mongs now expect the dippers to walk it. They won't get another opportunity like the one they've just £#%&!ed.

they'll do well to get top four - that bottling will have taken it out of them and with CL to contend with and probably not getting 16 penalties.....United, berts and chav$ top 3.....

A lot depends on where the racist ends up

If he moves then I can see them wasting money on another flop to replace him.

If he stays then they'll still have a top Player and will likely add to their squad and build around him. They'll be fighting it out for top 4 next season.

Can't think of many

But he'll be lucky one day.

The French defender was apparently a worldy a few years ago for psg and will come good for them IMO.

Now that they're in the CL it will open the market up for them selfs.

Maybe, don't recall any big stars coming to Spurs when they qualified though.

I don't think so.

Chelsea will strengthen. They have money to throw at players. They won't be as poor next season.
City will do likewise.
If Arsenal spend well too, they'll be in contention. Mebbe.
And then there is Utd .......

Liverpool have shot their bolt.

He didn't even want sturridge and was forced upon him

Henderson who they're all claiming is the second coming, was going to be sold to fulham for £4 million (they paid 16), Mignolet's ok but nothing special, not even close to Top 5 keepers in the league. Couthinos ok but again nothing special didn't even make the Brazil squad

The rest are utter £#%&!, Aspas, Alberto, ilori, Sakho, Borini, Allen, Yesil, Assiadi, ibe and Kolo Toure are the rest

In short he's shown nothing that he can pick a player

Quite interestingly (or not so depending on how spoddy you are) All but 2 of Brenton's signings are on all the online recommendation lists of players who come proper good on FIFA 2012.

Has he just sacked off his scouts and bought a playstation?

This.

Been making this point for a good few months now to various dippers and City fans.

This is brilliant. I hope it's true. Or even better, that he's taking the recommendations from some highly-paid club scout who's actually nicking them off Playstation.

Yes. The point being that Brenton wanted rid of him.
