Apparently, the Scousers made enquiries before he renewed his contract with Porto recently. Wouldn't want to see him go there at the end of the season.

The Portuguese press managed to get hold of one of his scouting reports he did on Newcastle during Mourinho's first season there. Interestingly, when it came to weaknesses, aside from the obvious ones such as Boumsong and Babayaro, he identified Given as a player to exploit.
