It is being reported that real madrid wanted 70 million plus for morata.


If utd have paid 75 million ( going up to 90 as reports say) for lukaku...how could he have been plan b?

Is this thick £#%&! of a journo saying united planned on paying more for than their plan B?

I don't think it necessarily goes that the first pick is the most expensive and prices go down from there.

No my point was, if the journo is to be believed and morata was first choice. Why would they sign the 2nd choice for a higher fee?

Your answer makes no sense though. We could have had our supposed first choice if we'd have wanted him, baulked at the price yet paid more for our second choice. Why would we?

English club to English club premium added? Maybe the chance to piss Chelsea off was an additional motivation. Maybe Agent Pogba gave a thumbs up after spending some time with him.. Maybe the possibility was raised when we were chatting about Rooney. ive no idea.
