The Premier League's most overated player ever?
Name him and give the reason why. Your choice can extend to the erstwhile English League Division One.
It's John Barnes for me. Scored one of the finest individual goals you'll ever witness (Brazil). Breathtaking goal which secured his icon (overated) status. He was an okay player for the scousers but guess what? He always seemed to turn it on against us! Well overated though! Over to you ..... |

Ive just googled it to refresh my memory and Andy Cole (8) and Dennis Irwin (11) were in the mails top 20 of all time. Don't think ive ever been so disgusted. The answer is Stevie G laird |

Stevie has the second highest number of assists in PL history though (although 30+ behind Giggsy ), that's gotta count for something surely |

I think Lampard was a brilliant player, wouldn't have admitted it at the time but he was. |
