I have to admit I rate him, moreso than Huntelaar. I also think he matches what we need more than Berbatov does. His strength and pace is what hits home. Plus that curler today was a beauty, and shows he's got technique too.

I'd take Berbatov even santa cruz than him now, not because he's shit he ain't but because of the price tag, 30million plus no way has he justified shelling out that amount.

I am a big fan of Benzema and I think he would fit right it at United.

Thought karim was brilliant tonight to be fair. Makes space for himself so well. A permanent danger. Really think he could turn out to be almost batistuta like around the right players with the right setup behind him.

Berbatov would also be a clas player for us no doubt. But if its 25m for him at 28 or 35 for benzema at his age its the later all the way for me.

Fwiw I think Berbatov would moonwalk up to Manchester if a move was made.

Benzema alarmingly really doesn't seem at all interested in us. Did enjoy his linking with paddy tonight though 2nd half.

Great young players with obvious potential are well worth the risk. Why wait until he's done something and end up shelling an extra 15m on him 2 years down the line?

I wouldn't complain too much if we got benzema.

I'm just not very impressed by any striker in the world at the moment.

I'd rather we bought an "intelligent" striker like teddy and went back to playing a team game.

I think we already have nous and football brains in roon and tev. I think we need something with real cutting edge, to pull us out of the shit in those games we tend to lose 1-0 a few times a season for instance.

I really think this guy looks like he could be that man but I'm most doubtful wed get out hands on him anyway.
