I wouldn't give him a brush for the terraces but he gets the centre forward roll.

I'm hearing the name, Ted McDougal.

The ball will bounce off him. He’ll lose the ball with his back to goal at least twice in the opening 20 minutes.

He’ll provide a couple of nice touches and the occasional give and go with Rashford or Bruno on the inside left channel.

But he won’t influence the game. He’ll fade as it goes on before he’s hooked for Hojlund after 70 mins, immediately after we go 2-0 down.

He’s going into his NINTH season at the club. He’s had one good one. One. It’s absolutely ridiculous and a sorry reflection on our drop in standard that this malingering waster is still starting our biggest games.

Well that's not the team I expected to see at this point of the season. We're an injury away from Johnny Evans starting

Like someone posted before, any pre game optimism I was managing to build up deflated immediately on seeing that team sheet, even knowing it was going to be that or similar.

Cool.

Careful mate

That kind of talk gets you labelled a troll by some of the numb skulls here

Better to say

“Offers a wonderful learning experience for our Demi god like midfielders to add additional skills to their already world class armoury of skills”

Think positively. We’re no longer an injury away from Maguire starting.

Peter Drury is going to grate by the end of the season isn’t he?

First line:

“It shakes, it shimmers…”

Wtf are you wibbling about?

Gore can tackle. Other than that, who would they have put on the bench?
