doesn't like most films because they're unrealistic - but enjoyed jurassic park in which dinosaurs still exist. D

thinks rocky, an all time great movie, is rubbish.

If he'd been making the point that film is an inferior medium to TV series, which allow for more depth in terms of character and plot development, I'd have had more respect for him.

that format allows far more time to lay it on thick for imbeciles that which can be left to the imagination by a truly great movie script played out by great actors over the course of 90 minutes or so
