Player expected to do thing he's supposed to do, despite not wanting to.

what difference doe's that make ,if he comes he will be the one crossing not jumping for the ball . he looks a decent height though and no pushover ,i think he will suite us very well and has been my 1st choice signing throughout , but very happy with signings so far ,we will put in a much better challenge this year and bring a bit of fear back into our opponents once more.

If we do end up signing this bloke and then that's it I would rate the summer business as rather disappointing.

I admire your persistent pessimism. At least it's consistent.

So those who spent years saying Mourinho should be the united manager and defending him at every turn are now questioning his targets?

Hard not to agree. We'd have spent £150m and have very little to show for it.

The most underwhelming summers sometimes prove to be the best (2009 aside).

Imagine this place when this mob rocked up at OT:

Wet sheets everywhere.

Yep. The forum beds have been relatively dry recent but I can now see some moistness seeping into the duvet

Wasn't much wrong with VDG.
Only mistake I remember him making was against Bordeaux and even then it wasn't costly

Solid keeper and a good number two keeper

Why? What top players can we get? Mourinho is building a side rather than just going for marquee signings. We've got some young players who could become top class players in the right side.

Can get behind this signing but wouldn't like to see Darmian go the other way. Especially if Shaw is out till Christmas.
