Going to miss Ronaldo, he may have been a pain in the arse sometimes but he was our pain in the arse. |

We were so £#%&!ing close to a Treble that season. There were so many highlights it's ridiculous. My personal highlight was Wayne's stoppage time goal at the Stretford End against Milan. It was just vintage United...victory snatched from the jaws of defeat. We should have won it that year (although I'm glad Milan did obviously) I don't think anyone's mentioned the 4-1 against Blackburn at Old Trafford. That was a great game. Trailing 0-1...Title hopes fading...an hour or so gone - Cue a piece of genius from the Ginger Prince, a beautifully taken finish by Carrick, a points sealing 3rd from Park & then the cherry on the cake - Ole's last goal for United (which of course was perfect symmetry because his first goal for United was against Blackburn at OT) What about Scholesy's goal at Villa Park as well! Could do with another season like that this year.. |

I was fixing some beer taps in a City Centre bar in Liverpool that day.It was superb.I was stood behind the bar, nervous as £#%&! when Bellamy scored...then it was flagged for offside. The Scouse @#%&!s were spitting mad Then, I finished what I was doing and decided to watch the last ten minutes, stood amongst the Scousers giving it 'Munich @#%&!s' etc. Then, O'Shea scored. How I managed to stay silent while the Verm @#%&!s (one with I 8 Mancs on the back of a shirt) went £#%&!ing nuts, I'll never know.A few people looked at me as I was walking out with a £#%&!ing big grin on my face, as if to say "What the £#%&! is that @#%&! on?".It was ace. And for the rest of the night, until about 11pm, every pub in Liverpool I had to go in was a real £#%&!ing pleasure. Excellent. |

Imagine my surprise when Caz handed me £40 in Wetherspoons later that day, saying he'd paid up. I bought a bottle of champers with it and swigged it from the bottle at the bar. Let's just say I gave it away that I was a United fan then |
