league > league cup

besides, they'll be looking at his stats and performance in training etc, they'll know when he needs a rest.

As interesting as it is to read people's predicted line ups, does anyone have the official one?

Most league games would be taking precedent but West Ham at home? That is surely one I think Rooney could have been given a breather.

Berbatov and Owen starting in a cup final is a huge show of faith, I think Owen will probably go in the summer anyway and his contribution has been what is expected but this game is probably the biggest in Berbatov's career. If he doesn't show up, it will confirm his ticket out of Manchester.

I defend SAF nonstop but this doesn't make sense, if we lose we know where to point the finger. Dropping Rooney when you already have Nani and Giggs out is just madness. This is gonna be a dull, dull affair again , as per usual in Wembley games.

Very £#%&!ing disappointed Wayne's not playing, tbh.

Another strange thing is Kuszczak starting yet Foster was chosen in midweek.

Thought Wes would have played.

However, not being entirely happy with the starting XI is proving a sure fire recipe for success.

We'll pass them off the park today.

3-1 United.
