Apologies if a duplicate thread but I've not seen or bothered to look for another thread.

Who would be your player of the year for this season?

I'd be half tempted to go for Van Persie just for his Moyes @#%&!ing antics, but I can't really see anyone beyond De Gea as the outstanding performer. The fact that a goalkeeper is the most impressive performer really speaks volumes about the @#%&! Moyes' time in charge.

De Gea has gone backwards this season imo. Only one player who's performed to a decent level and that's Rooney.

No stand out season for anyone, De Gea and Rooney only two that have not totally shamed themselves IMO

Probably De Gea. He's not had a settled defence in front of him all season and some of the horror shows he's had to put up with makes me weep.
