Football Vitinha - Porto

Thought it worth getting a thread up while we’re linked and before the inevitability of him signing for someone else…

No idea if he’s any good tbh.

One of 3 we’re ‘prioritising’ along with FDJ and the freebie we’re locked in an epic tussle with Palace for from Derby, apparently.

Another example of tapping up a player up which seems the norm these days.

"Let's agree terms before 'lodging' or 'preparing' a bid..."

Went on loan to Wolves briefly, didn’t he? (Shocker)

Wouldn’t if Big Duaners could shed any light on him?

And he had a €40m release clause so there’s no much to negotiate. I’m sure we’ll still try.

Remember how we ending up paying more than Fellaini's release clause because we dithered?

Yes. Another one in the ‘it’s only June’ cons column. The longer we go, the more we seem to panic and make more stupid decisions.

He did. We had a £20m buy option at the end of his loan. I was glad we didn't exercise it.

Tidy player but did nothing to make me think he was anything more than that. Just get Garner the first team minutes instead.
