Are there really some who would rather lose the league than a semi to the berties?

How small time is that.

this poll boils down to who do you hate more. if you hate city more it's probably because your mates are citeh or your family etc, so to lose is even more unthinkable for them than it is for someone like me who £#%&!ing hates city but has no city mates or family. this could then make you vote with emotion and choose beat city

after reading the above those who have voted beat city will be trying to change their answer in a shot , as everyone knows that winning the league>winning the fa cup, even if we haven't won it for £#%&!ing ages and it means city get to the final. (they would still £#%&! it up btw, don't forget, they are still city!!) rofl

Indeed. For them to beat us, and then lose to Bolton/Stoke in the final would indeed be "typical ciddy"

They'd still claim the entire season as some sort of moral victory.

A United vs Bolton Cup final in the year of Nat Lofthouse's death would be apt.

Finally give us chance for revenge for 1958 (?)

They were the better team that day, tbf - for all the fuss about Lofthouse's goal.

Now the previous year's cup final, there was a real scandal

yeah; "progress"

"progress" has become the new massive for city fans and pundits. bitterbee was at it on sky, gary the @#%&! owen is always at it, ffs your team cost £1.75Bn you should be looking for a bit more than "progress".

Thumbs up Re: Beat City or Win 19?

3rd Round - Leicester City (went to replay) (h)
4th Round - Notts County (went to replay) (h)
5th Round - Ridiculously weakened Villa side (h)
Quarters - Reading (h)

Searing cup run, showing real promise tbf.

Did you see the Reading game? Christ.

I mean I know we scrapped through against Southampton and Crawley but then again we have Bebe and Obertan, not £400 millions worth of "talent"

They should and could have gone out at both Leicester and Notts County.

We at least weakened our team significantly to give Southampton, Crawley and Arsenal a chance.

I am confident about the semis. Saturday hopefully kick started a run.

And I just remembered I am in Holland for this game, at least the means to forget about it are there if need be.
