You miss the point that the Sevilla game showed that this dinosaur should be nowhere near Man United.

Blaming Woodward who brought him Lindelof, Bailly, Mhiki, Lukaku for big money, a whole new midfield and extended Fellaini's contract?

It's Woodward's fault Mourinho victimises players in public and plays football like a coward.

It's Woodward's fault Mourinho can't beat $#*!e teams without Harry Maguire, Danny Rose and Perisic.

I'd be shocked at the height of the pro-Mourinho stupidity exhibited on here if it wasn't led by a guy who created similarly enthusiastic threads when Moyes was manager

Edit - the way the club is run is clearly a huge problem, but doesn't excuse Mourinho's approach and failures.

Last night arguably even worse imo. Fake effort is worse than just giving up imo. They could have won last night if they wanted.

Club decided this path in the summer when they didnt back the coach. Message was sent loud and clear to all, not just mou, but the players and fans....

True.

I didn't want any of the players Mou did....but as soon as the board starts veto-ing their signings because they're at cross purposes with the whole vision of the club, it's over.

It's not just been this season. There has been discontent to varying degrees since he got here. His style is just doesn't seem to fit with the image of the club. It never did and that's not his fault.

It carried over from last season into poor recruitment this summer and all the signs were there on the tour of the U.S.

This season was doomed to be like this.

It simply has to change.

And it won't for the time being.

You can't have a go a Mourinho for being Mourinho. It should have never got to this stage.

There is one man responsible for the way this entire fiasco has unfolded and that man is Ed Woodward. Not backing the manager who HE hired in the summer and then coming out and briefing the press as to why he didn't was the beginning of this. If he doesn't back the manager then he should have sacked him in the summer, this whole £#%&!ing mess could have been avoided and Manchester United wouldn't currently be the biggest laughing stock in football.

The man is a maggot

We were already talking in july about it being brave if mou resigned in protest at the glazers and woodward. Many forumistas before the season began were wary of woodys lack of backing and how it could kill our season before it began....

So "Mou" is gutless as well as a shit manager.

We should've sacked him because he's run out of ideas and always goes £#%&!ing mental in his third season, not because he asked for "impossible" transfers.

The thing is Woodward the gimp is actually trying to learn from past mistakes, the Sánchez transfer's spooked everyone in how wrong we can get it. But he's been playing catch up from day one. Every summer he tries to sign the players he should have the previous one, because his first one was such a bust, but in the meantime the game moves on and leaves us behind. All this money we've wasted. Ridiculous.

Mourinho got Lukaku for £75m. He isn't good enough for where we want to be. Mourinho also got Matic for £40m and after a good first few months, now he looks like his legs are gone.

£115m on two players we probably need to replace already. And he wanted another £100m for Alderweireld and Peresic - look at it from that point of view and its not surprising why Ed vetoed it.

Don't forget, Lukaku is now missing open goals because we didn't buy a centre half.
