This.

Classy player and guy, but didn't bring much to the table for us and we were much better with Saha.

Saha was crocked wasn't he?

Unlikely as that sounds.

oh, great. we simply don't have enough of this kind of player being played out of position.

pereira is not a £#%&!ing defensive midfielder. £#%&!ing hell.

Who said defensive midfield?

He could easily play centre mid and that would be his best position IMO. Would like to see him as a deep lying playmaker, something we're currently lacking at the moment

Not sure what's so about it, it's not like I'm pushing the idea that we should play a right back in midfield is it...

Tbf he’s a central midfielder converted to a winger converted to right-back. Central midfield is where he played as a kid and was spotted, and where he broke through at Nacional. It’s his original position.

I expect some good rep from Jem for this tbh.

All the hushed tones ... he was a bit underwhelming tbf although helped us through injury/heavy fixture load

Ah well, if he played in centre mid when he was 6...

We signed him as a winger and converted him to right back

End of.

Where he’d been converted to, from a central midfielder.

Bottom line.
