Anderson was injured by the grass too in training......it was a long time till lunch and he ate too much of it. The fertilizer caused subsequent poisoning and after having his stomach pumped he became dangerously underweight at 16' 5lbs.

Seems Nani, Carrick and Rooney are also injured.

Call ups for Denis Irwin, Andrew Cole and Brian McClair on the way?
Many a true word said in jest.

Agreed, but sadly I can't see, SAF putting his trust in him, but I genuinely hope he proves me wrong.

he's gonna be off though next weekend, he'll be starting, the atmosphere'll be horrific with everything him, evra, rooney or nani boo'd to £#%&! and one slip and he'll be off.

i'm gonna go with:

Yellow on 14 minutes after a foul stopping a break, probably not that bad but the ref wants to make sure the game stays calm. A couple of amazingly minor fouls will have the blood-fuelled kop masses baying for a red, but he'll stay on until the 56th minute when his legs have given up, attempts a tackle, it's late and while not malicious he's got to go.

Meanwhile, Carragher takes out a chainsaw, carves Nani into bits, hands some bloody pieces to the ref and is booked because 'Nani's reputation went before him'.
