"It had swollen but there was no pain. He doesn't take any risks.'

"To me, it won't be a surprise to see him playing, but of course Ferguson could moan because Louis didn't play with us."

He's got years yet. No doubt he'll be asking for a pay rise soon

There must be a danger that he's got premature retirement hanging over his head?
I mean, how many injuries is it possible to keep having before you have to face the fact that your knees are £#%&!ed?

If he plays for France this week & reports back with a knee problem he should be sacked & replaced in January.

What was his injury situation like at Fulham? Did we buy a bag of trouble or has he suddenly become injury prone?

I believe he missed almost an entire season and large chunks of another out of the three or so he played there.

The lad himself must be £#%&!ed mentally.
Apparently he is a very emotional person...it's just one setback after another for him.

He'll have been a United player 4 YEARS in January & yet he still feels like an 'outsider' in some respects.

I just can't ever see him playing a full season for United.
We need to buy a striker, either in January or definitely next Summer.

really cannot see him being at united next season, tbh i think that only for the injury during the summer he would be gone now, terrible shame because of his ability but at some stage you just have to cut your losses and move on.

He must read Fred because a few weeks back he told Skysports: "To say this is all mental problems is rubbish". Or words to those effect.

I have never read he suffers from mental problems anywhere other than here. Players must read this and "the other side", surely. I would if I was a professional.

I thought that too, although it was probably RI, which would have been more cutting no doubt. Bet he's never read the word @#%&! as many times in his life.

I'd be amazed if the players didn't have a peek on these forums from time to time...you wouldn't be able to help yourself would you?

I bet Nev reads them.
