Don't think many names would come in to get paid next to £#%&! all, not allowed to buy players and have a pittance of a playing budget.........we're a league higher than we should be I reckon.

No, or if there is there shouldn't be.

We have had an average'ish start to the season( 9th in the league). A start that he has been in hospital for half of.

We have played most of the top teams already, however from middle of October until about Boxing Day we have a run of games we would expect to be picking up points in.

Last year was a miracle done on a budget lower than most, and then we had 2 of our best players nicked.

Not in a rush to get anywhere, anyway. As long as we play entertaining football I will be happy.

As much as I think the Conference North would be our nadir, with potential derbies such as Altrincham, Droylsden, Hyde and Stalybridge I also think the Conference- full of southern teams and £15-20 admission fees- might actually prove to be a bag of shit

Talking of fc, we're at home (Stalybridge) to Marine on Saturday.

I love games played at Stalybridge, we seem to play better there and you can stand behind the goal and change ends at half time. Wish we played all our games there bth.

Doubt it on Saturday, likely to be segregation. Much prefer Bury to Stalybridge myself.

Think I've just got Gigg fatigue, I don't hate the place but always enjoy Staly more, feels more like non-league.
