It is an eagle? Always thought is was a phoenix that was used as the badge in the '58 Cup Final.

Pretty sure it was a phoenix, I bought an original 58 cup final shirt going on 20 years ago. Mum donated it to charity

Yet to see an eagle rising from the ashes …..

And yes, no atmosphere last night. Didn’t feel like a European game, let alone one against a big team. Think we all suspected what might happen and were given no encouragement on the pitch to make us believe (or even dream) otherwise

We have a fans group that can’t tell the difference between an eagle & a phoenix and one that names themself after the year of a tragedy.

We don’t do fans groups very well.
