That type of attitude is not helping Spurs. Look good, start to build some momentum and then when it really matters seize up.

Spurs should be getting truckloads of criticism for yesterday. Basically at home, start well, have Utd on the rack, but as soon as the equalizer goes in the match was never going any other way. Utd did not have to do anything special, just be solid, no basic errors, be patient and wait for Spurs to do what Spurs do. Instead of sympathy there should be serious questions asked about the mental fortitude of the club, and with the WC in mind what that means about guys like Dier, Ali and Kane.

For Utd I think yesterday showed the value of those Cup wins last year, and even the FA cup in LVG's season. Plenty of players who have been through those games and were not intimidated by the occasion, much more composed of the 2 teams.

Spurs only solution to the problem seemed to be going out to rake everyone's achilles.

Great performance 2nd half, gritty determination. Something we need to see more often.
Sanchez and Herrera were both superb.

Agreed. United no longer panic when we go behind, even against top sides. The Spurs away league game feels a bit of a turning point in that regard. We have the quality to turn any game, so the experienced players really should always keep the team focused.

I'm sure it's been mentioned on here, but how gutted were the Beeb at Spurs' collapse, especially Murphy

Sleeping. @#%&!s hitting the snooze button. Manchester United doing the victory thing. Club mentality. We accept it. We perpetuate it. It is your fault. Thank yourself. Be grateful to yourself. Submissive. Thank you Manchester United. Thank you for dominating us. We are grateful

Looking at the faces. All those Tottenham faces in the tiers. Broken. But secretly comfortable. This is home. Submissive hand maids to the big clubs. We play our part in their play. Time after time. It’s beautiful. What a performance

I hate to admit it, but I just knew when Sanchez scored that we were done. And that wasn't melting, it was just 30+ years of following this club. When it comes to the crunch, we always ALWAYS choke. We are perennial losers. Thank £#%&! we've got a splendid new stadium coming. It will be smashing watching us choke there too....
Sparky must have some spurs blood in him.

Very, they were ready for feeding time at the trough, not just on the Spurs love in but on attacking Mourinho and Utd. We have to keep that privilege for ourselves ffs.

Utd are the second best team in the country and I think they have started to prove that the squad is far less terrible than some like to pretend. Challenge is to take this into next season and for it not to be an Arsenal style run when the key prizes are gone to save the season.
