First of all, I hope you enjoyed what was a truly historic event yesterday – days like that really do not come around too often.

Secondly, I would like to apologise for not being able to play your song, ‘Some Facts’, at half-time yesterday. Regrettably, the many important and necessary announcements we had to get through ate into our allocated slot for music and we simply didn’t have enough time to play all four songs that we had lined up. I appreciate that this situation must have been slightly disheartening, however the new initiative of supporting local bands and promoting them through half-time activity is something we strongly believe in and we plan on carrying this through to next season. We will do our best to ensure that the track you supplied, or new material if you wish, will be played at Old Trafford in the 2013/14 season.

We always appreciate the new material that is sent into us, and I hope you can accept our apology and look forward to hearing your music at Old Trafford next season.
