Default Hat-tricks at Old Trafford

Scored by United players.

Sammy Macs v Wolves in 1981 has to be up there as one of the best?

Obviously Kanchelskis v the massives in 94 is there, not because of the quality of goals but because of the 5-0 dicking we dished out?

What's your favourite?

I blame Barthez for Ronaldo's goals.

That one - mainly because it was a cracking game and it was followed by a gala evening at the Brahms and Liszt on Brown Street and some very nice bird from Moston. No really.

Even Birtles had a good game. He could have scored a hat-trick, as could Stapleton.

It's always easy to say we could have scored 10 in some games but that game in particular, it wouldn't have flattered us if we scored 12.

Sammy Macs hat-trick was £#%&!ing magic though. All 3 outside the area? I think so.
