I remember being so happy the next day that I didn't realise a wasp had got into my jacket sleeve on the bus.
When I got to work and took off the jacket, the bugger just flew out.
No sting.
And I was throwing shapes so he must have tried his best not to stick me.
I could swear he winked at me when he escaped.
We were both just buzzing at the result imo.

Was a real eye opener alright.

Was weird how so much Roma were allowed to hang around SMBW and the Bishops etc with virtually no police presence,

Did anyone else secretly think De Rossi's goal was the best one on the night?

The squad that season really was sub par
Kieran Richardson getting game time

It's what stopped us winning the treble imo
Fergie addressed it in the summer and the rest is history

Although the Milan tie and fa cup hurt, that season will always be one of my favourite. We played some outstanding football.

There was plenty of them, they must have thought they were going to take over for some reason. Not all were after trouble but I don't think that mattered to someone that got a smack off a baton or a euro coin at their head the previous week. They were getting it from all over SMBW and had no idea where to go/run

The starting 11 won the league

Didn't have much outside of that

Very little rotation that season and we were £#%&!ed by the final month of the season

we were £#%&!ed by injuries in defence at the crucial period of there season, not lack of strength in depth - even if it's true that the squad was a couple of players short ...

19 players had double figure apps in the league, 15 of them double figures of starts.
