Decent watch bar that, attackers had fun.
I think it's becoming clear why he hasn't been getting any time in the league so far.

Plenty of room for improvement there.

Martial was an absolute pleasure to watch. Fair enough - vastly inferior opposition, but still nice to see. Linked up great with the Rashford as well.

Our defence has been a bit worrying in the last few games. Not dealing with crosses at all.

Put it this way Phil Neville was criticising his fitness so if an idiot like Phil can see it then I don't think he'll be starting league games for a while yet.

Looking at last night

If we're going to play Rashford and Martial together (with Lukaku) then I think Mata is a better option in the 10 role than Mkhitaryan

Mkhitaryan is more dynamic but gives the ball away a lot whereas Mata gives much more control in that area

Playing 3 players as quick, powerful and dynamic as Rashford, Martial and Lukaku in attack you just need someone who will keep feeding them the ball as quickly as possible rather than dwelling on the ball like Mkhitaryan does

Id probably agree with that. Its strange to say one of our quicker players slows the momentum down and our slowest keeps up the pace But Mata does have the experience and knowhow and always seems to play the right ball AT THE RIGHT TIME. Its not a calamity Micky T will learn when to move it on first time and when to have a dribble. All comes with experience.

Lingard makes our other attackers play better together. Discuss.

If he could just learn to not be knocked over so £#%&!ing easily he'd be a proper asset. Seems to be made of paper or have absolutely no balance. the merest brush puts him off or knocks him over £#%&!ing frustrating.

His frame is tiny
There's only so much muscle you can put on that incredibly slim frame he has without it effecting him negatively

He could probably put on a bit more muscle but the main thing he needs to work on is consistently assisting and scoring
Did a lot of good work last season when he played but not enough of it resulted in goals

Think it's a natural thing to some extent, some players are £#%&!ing difficult to knock over/disrupt, Giggs for instance, there was £#%&! all to him and he didn't fall over due to the heavy breathing of a fat CB.
