I'm not helping Mourinho's cause here, am I?

Wasn’t Mou suggesting that surgery could be in the pipeline? Persistent groin problem etc. Didn’t sound good at all

The lad reminds me of Rafael. Infectious attitude which makes him quite rash, and now seemingly just as hard to get him fit.

Gutted that Rafael didn’t make it here. He was incredible in Fergie’s last season. Ruined by Moyes. Not question about that.

Adored Raf and he was superb that year. The injury issue was getting silly though. He kept breaking down that year under Moyes and the following season under LvG he was barely fit at all. Think everyone at the club loved him but I think his time came.

Now pretty much the reserve RB at Lyon.

Just checked, 6 weeks back. And it’s ankle not groin - that was the previous one.

Ankle injuries are an utter bastard. Need complete rest and reoccurrence is common.

Yup. They hoped it wouldn't need surgery at first but after a couple of weeks it became clear it would be needed and he went straight under the knife.

Due back c.11/2/18.

We've been playing pretty shit teams tbh

I don't know if Bailly's all that tbh. He's likeable enough but he sure loves to steam in. All our defenders have question marks though.

Still my top centre back, which must give him great confidence.

Rafael comparison occurred to me. Hope I’m wrong. Great start, got a bit rash, then the injuries. Early days.
