Heinze has been very poor, doesn't look fit, tbh. But Evra is still vunerable defensively, I'll be terrified on Sunday when the ball goes near him.

I think he'll opt for Heinze's power on Sunday though.

Agreed. When fit of course. Much better defender.

Heinze's defensive positioning is very poor. At left back anyway. Saw that a couple of times on tuesday. He's better than Evra at lunging in, and in the air, but that's about it. I hope Evra starts, just because we can't afford to gift posession to Chelsea, and Heinze seems particularly fond of this.

Gabby's not all he's cracked up to be at the back, he is better at heading but is a lot slower, is always prone to loose challenges at the edge of the box and stray elbows. A couple of years ago, when there was apathy all around him, he was such a welcome relief and i loved him, still do for that. The injury was, of course not his fault, but since he's been out Evra has stood out and with the football we play nowadays, Evra has to play. Gabby's passing and crossing is frankly awful and the play will break down when it reaches him. Evra slots in nicely and keeps moves flowing (linking up particularly well with Rooney and Giggs).

IMO of course

I think the way Evra lies down infront of them to stroll past is worse, tbh.

It's a shame Heinze isn't fit though, that World Cup £#%&!ed him up.

It's easy to forget just how good he was for us before his injury.

Heinze will get red carded soon for the use of an elbow. £#%&! knows how many times he's cracked an oppo player in the kisser with a stray elbow.

Saying that, there's no point in letting him go and both he and Evra are very good left backs. Certainly better than that 50p headed goldfish that has been playing there over the last few seasons.
