Well thats it, im £#%&!ed. I was roughly the same age as Rooney when he signed for us. Now hes a £#%&!ing manager. Life moves fast

Rooney was insanely talented but I don't think it was particularly coached in to him.

I'd rather have an ex-player who was a real thinker and made the best of what he had.

I can't imagine his team talks will be tactically earth shattering.

On that basis you would expect someone like Sheringham to be an excellent manager, but his few attempts thus far have not been successful.

You can know everything about the game but if you can't manage people you are £#%&!ed. People managers with very little tactical nous have done well repeatedly in the past.

If he can keep his job between now and the transfer window, could be an opportunity to offload some of our dross onto Derby.

They reckon they're 2-3 weeks away from being owned by an Abu Dhabi Billionaire.
