Was absolutely magnificent against Genoa yesterday. Showed fantastic technique, intelligence and tremendous spirit. Really a complete midfield performance. He was pinging passes about the pitch over all distances and angles, playing with one touch, firing off shots from outside the box, prompting his team-mates, filling in for defenders, doubling up with the fullbacks, tackling ferociously...

most complete?
i wouldnt say that. he is better when it comes to defending than going forward. yes he isnt far from being a real complete midfielder. but he is more of a defensive midfielder, and a good one. but at times he lacks it when going forward. he doesnt have that 'touch' that the attacking players usually have. but he has still 1-2 years left till he reaches his peak so you never know, he could become better than this |

That was one of the worst i have ever seen. I missed one like that many years ago, however the night before i had been £#%&!ed on LSD til the early hours so it was somewhat explainable, however for a pro that trains daily and lives and breaths the game that kick was simply disgraceful.
