Football Cristiano Ronaldo: should he stay or should he go?

If he goes there will be trouble. On the other hand, if he stays it may be double.

Chelsea the only club seriously linked with him. Reports that we'll take £13m for him this morning.

What would you do?

Just get rid. The club needs to move on.

Go.

Don’t want to be trapped in a loveless marriage.

Would be strange to keep him now I guess but can hold his head just like Rooney. Only two players brave enough to call out the shambles of the club they’ve been involved at and say what we’re all thinking.

Let him go.

We've let him down, we can't match his standards.

He deserves better.

Was great to have him back, but it's a new era - time to evolve into the next team & I hope it's one packed full of youth, pace & work rate.

He can play where he wants, I don't begrudge him anything.

Probably best for ETH if he goes and we need a fresh start.

It was great to have him back… a shining light in an otherwise awful season.

Has to go. Its not about greed or money, he's one of the greatest players ever coming to the end of his career and doesn't want to be part of a shit show. Can't blame him but hope it doesn't get messy. Have him do a teary farewell speech dressed as a devil and afterwards pitchfork cardboard cutouts of the Glazers to death whilst shouting obscenities in Portuguese. Then have his screaming kids violently kick and punch the cardboard corpses before being dragged away by their mother and Ronnie launches into a few fist clenched Utd songs

A dignified exit.

Let him go.

Hopefully to a different league but just go. Quickly, quietly, with dignity and our thanks.

Up to ten hag’s judgment. I suspect he was planning for replacing ronaldo the moment he got the job.

Ronaldo avoiding coming back to the dressing room suggests he was a large part of the toxicity in that dressing room last season. A major catalyst for the split.

He’s a little snake that’s waited until now to do this. The club are unprepared at the best of times but we’ve a brand new manager and the biggest rebuild needed since the last one… aaaand he waits until the 11th hour to reveal he doesn’t fancy it. £#%&! him.

Wish there was the option: ‘make him go’.

Love the guy, but get rid if he's not 100% and play Bruno as a false 9.

Likely will suit Erik better anyway.

.
Does it £#%&!.

Yeah, I'm sure he's terrified of Maguire and Shaw bitching about him behind his back.

Making him stay will encourage him to stay, and a public announcement from him of "I stay".

Ball is firmly in United's court here. No doubt they'll £#%&! it up.

Definitely should have been an option given that noone wants him. Disappointed in myself.
