Surely it happening more means it's less likely to be luck.

And what's lucky about it anyway? The game lasts 94 minutes. They scored within that time. It's dramatic and its living dangerously, but they're entitled to score in that time.

Were we lucky when we scored late goals?

Yep.

Which is why I can't get THAT wound up about it. We used to do it. Now they're doing it. Football comes in cycles and all that.

Just be glad you got to see us do it so much because some people support Barnet.

It’s what helps me deal with them winning in the 95th minute almost every week pal, leave me be.

This is why I don't watch them.

I got pissed off today because i actually stupidly looked forward to watching us after midweek. Went in with optimism. That made the defeat tougher.

Watching those @#%&!s do that would have been a hell of a lot worse than seeing it flick over on the sky sports website.

While I agree it’s not luck, it does beg the question of when they’ll get some bad luck tbh.

Fair enough pal.

Mine is laying into Bunks and Riccers, apparently.

Honestly don’t give a f*** any more. Cheering City on to a third consecutive title? No thanks. If it’s a choice between those two for the foreseeable, which it is, then I just don’t care. Accept it. At least it’s a bit like watching vintage United!

They'll have you believe they get it all the time.

They apparently were on the wrong end of VAR today. They were against us (right decision, but as we saw last week, it COULD have been overturned).

Good teams make luck matter less.

If you're relying on things you can't control, that's on you.

In short they're good and we're shit

It really isn’t. It’s just that they keep their heads and don’t give up. Unlike our fannies who have a nervous breakdown when 1-0 down.

Meanwhile we have a happy manager just grateful to be working with a nice group of lads we have at the club

This.

I didnt mind doing it in 2014 because it felt like a one-off Gerrard inspired fluke.

Now, those two are by far and away the best two teams in the country. I'd rather wish we got better than have to choose between those two so early in the season.

It's no way to live.

If they win it, they'll deserve it and itll have been 30 years. They had to do it eventually.

They've had far more detestable players and managers down the years too.

I'll take this over a Dalglish-managed Gerrard and 'Carra' winning it.

Was actually thinking "they can't POSSIBLY get yet another late winner today".

They won’t be able to keep the relentless pressure up like this for the whole season, especially when the fixtures pile up. These late winners (and there does seem to be one every week) will surely dry up.

Just when you thought the day couldn't get any worse, here's Clarence Bodiker head to tell us all 'I told you so'.
