Fact is he can produce something positive which lukaku hasn't since august.

Lukaku nowhere near good enough to start every game, hope to see much more rotation with the front players, particularly Martial/Rashford up-front.

As bad as Lukaku is, somewhat dread the thought of an even more static Zlatan leading the line

Even if he changed nothing else about his game, just making runs -actually sprinting independently of the ball when we win possession and are countering- would make Martial twice the player he is today. He just won’t do it though.

Get Greizzy and rotate the three of them. Have them as a unit chopping and changing. Disgusting performance today from the big man, save him for flat track bullying.

The amount of times Lingard was running ahead of him to close em down. He’s too big to be Mobile.

Should be given a chance up top, for sure, but now Ibra's back and having £#%&!ed all that cash on Lukaku, I just don't see Jose giving him a chance. Still only 22 though, and has the talent to truly shine with the right team mates and set up.

Would prefer it if we played Rashford up top with Martial behind.

Think Rashford is better with his back to goal than Martial, but the latter is devastating coming in from the flanks, just a shame Mourinho trying to turn him into Joe Cole

Ignoring the blatant bait at the end []......the fact Walker was on a booking from the third minute and yet neither Martial or Rashford tried to isolate him 1v1 was a joke. One rash tackle could have seen them down to 10 but as you say too worried about what they can do to us rather than focusing on what we can do to them

Yeah. Martial was poor anyway tbf and if he’s going to be a top player his bottom level needs to be higher. Sometimes you’re asked to play in positions that don’t suit you, but your game shouldn’t completely go down the pan. But the deployment of him was disappointing.

How much of it is how he’s told to play vs how he actually plays though? He’s been reluctant to make independent runs since he joined the club; he always needs ball to feet, deep. How can you have a left winger who’s never offside ffs?

That did my head in. Both of them had numerous opportunities to drive at him but instead stopped and passed sideways.
