It's metal. I understand bringing bruno back into the team but it's clear to everyone (apart from EtH) that he can't play with The Scottish Player.

would've stuck amrabat in for mctom to protect the centre back pairing a bit more

The key is Mainoo. Irrelevant who’s next to him.
Nobody will be the next to him, that’s the problem.

Agreed Mainoo is key, but both he and Amrabat play with a lot more discipline than both Bruno and The Scottish Player. We saw that last week. We can afford one of Bruno or The Scottish Player. Not both.

He’s doing this against West Ham who are set up to hit you on the break. I think he’s made a big mistake, I hope I am wrong.

See how this goes but he's refusing to play 2 defensive midfielders. Absolutely crazy considering how wide open we usually are.

It’s bearing in mind we have 3 of our first choice back 4 out too. A debutant and a 35 year old might need a bit of protection

Hopefully Mainoo’s composure compensates for any other potential midfield chaos

Seems to ignore the problems this team faces.

Amrabat in for mctom please. I think I’d also prefer Rashford on the right/anyone rather than Antony. But I can understand why he’s gone with the one footed flop over the sulking entitled one tbf.

Must be the first time I've looked at a West Ham side and thought a few of them would walk into our side

amazing that Amrabat has become the answer to our midfield problems today just by being omitted. Same fella was getting pilloried on here earlier in the week.

We shall see. Amrabat can play with all the discipline in the world, but it isn’t much use when he’s ambling about watching players waltz past him, like against Chelsea & Bournemouth

The Scottish Player just hides from the ball. Amrabat is far better.

He was one of our better players against Chelsea.

Thumbs up

I’m getting good vibes about this. Always exciting to see the next superstar roll off the production line, and with Martial dragging his sniffles out for another week, what’s not to like about that matchday squad. 2-1 to us.
