Default Players that weren't top top united quality

But you liked, and why..

Me first.

Quentin Fortune - always seemed to be injured, but playing for United seemed to mean the world to him, he put it in, would back the lads up when the going got tough, and got the odd goal along the way.

Yeah. A tough little bastard and never let the club down.

Decent enough midfielder when he got a run too. Just never fit and not talented enough to appear sporadically.

Phil Nevile. Unlike his brother, I thought he came across a decent sort. Loved playing for United and has been unfairly ridiculed by sections of the abu media. Playing Vieira of the park at OT in the 02/03 season will always be a highlight.

Richardson. Not the greatest player, but his boyish charm and relentless work ethic made him a hero to me.

Hope this helps.

larry white and david bellion.

they were like matter and antimatter:

bellion: talented, experienced, white, big, no pace
larry: no talent, raw, black, small, quick as lightning

Big bastard.. looks as fit as Butcher's Dog..

Seemed pleasant aswell, and was particuarly tolerant of my 4 year old pushing past him and invading his personal space to bang on the glass of the fish tank..

As a result he gets a thumbs up from me..

until a few days ago, i forgot berg had played for us i rated him. that clearance off the line against inter (?) was immense. i still don't know how he managed to get to it.

i've always liked o'shea, despite him putting in some stinkers.
