Well they're generally the last to report anything these days so if they're prepared to do it then they're likely to be sure of their sources. Look how cautious the article is. That Simon Stone has been covering United for years he'd never be putting his name to that if he hadn't been told it was ok.

Only problem is there's no mention of sources. It's either a good thing or a 'we've just read Marca'.

Why two writers?

Surely United will have to comment either way on this? It's proper rife speculation, whilst we still have a manager under contract for another 18 months (in theory). They were quick to come out and say the Guardiola stuff was %@#$&!s when those discussion rumours started up a few weeks ago...

There's 2 or 3 things in there that are absolute %@#$&!s tbf. Mourinho as a 'response' to City? They know Giggs would be unwilling to work under him?

As I said earlier, these stories are being put out by Mourinho's side, as they get increasingly desperate. The wording of this particular story does nothing to convince me otherwise.

Loved it when every £#%&!er hated us. That's not as bad these days cos people don't see us a threat. Be public enemy no1 again when he joins

No chance giggs accepts being an assistant for a third time. He'll be off.
