what was his reason? Both the lads who arent renewing said it was the cost, I suggested they go halves on one.

Mines 530. You can pay in installments but I think I'll just get it paid if I renew.
It's the cup games that take the piss.

The installments? You have to pay a tenner to the finance company, otherwise it's 0%.

So mather's 830 quid allows him to see 18 league games @ approx 46 quid a game. Any other advantages ?

My lad plays for a Belgian 4th division club, U7. I pay 350 euros per year.

For that, he gets,

A full kit, plus a size 3 ball (no boots obviously)

Training twice a week at a very nice fully equiped training facility (grass and synth pitches) with certified coaches.

At least one league match a week, plus end of of season tournaments

In addition I get

Two season tickets for the first team and reserve team home matches.

One dinner in the "business seats" (execs)
