Bingo.

Didn't even read Sider's response. An all too familiar occurrence of late.

Reading arguments about lvg will be irritating while we play meaningless games in the league to finish 7th in mid april.

We're not gonna win at upton park under lvg are we? Think theyve only lost once there all season, back in August...

Depressing to think the league title was very much alive back in December. Bloody arsenal were 2 clear of leicester turn of the year....

The only reason we have a mathematical chance of ANYTHING is due to other teams being a once in a decade gashhhhh.

We've done nothing of any note this season. Arsenal n city could lose another few and we'd not take advantage.

you have to be on a wum.......... Rebuiling, we have spent more cash in the last 3 years, which should have had us competing at the top in Europe, This time last year Ranineri was no where to be seen at Leicester, 8 months later, after spending a couple of million they are on the verge of winning the league.. But yet we are led to believe that the biggest club in the country with unlimited funds needs millions spent and years in the wilderness to get back to the top...

Difficult to take advantage of anything in the current incredibly negative set-up. It's why we've lost to so many of the crap teams at the bottom.

Imagine averaging a goal a game and getting in the top four .

Seems to be a lot of confusion here about what the term building means. It doesn't necessarily mean that you have instant success. We add the right quality this summer and it should be a good young squad that any manager can take forward.

This is a bit of a cliche, tbh. He didn't "build" his sides at Porto and (first time) Chelsea - really?

Well no, that Porto team had been dominating their own league and Chelsea were almost there, they'd made a European semi-final and come second in the league the previous year.

He was then hand-picked in late January 2002 by Porto to replace Octávio Machado. At this time, Porto was in fifth place in the Liga (behind Sporting, Boavista, Leiria and Benfica), had been eliminated from the Portuguese Cup and was in last place in their UEFA Champions League second group stage. Mourinho guided the team to third place that year after a strong 15-game run (W–D–L: 11–2–2) and gave the promise of "making Porto champions next year."
