tbf its more than a good enough team to beat rangers by a few goals

dippers at the weekend, he was always going to rest a fair few. be interesting to see how hernandez and rooney work together. big chance for gibson as well: valencia, park and fletcher are all strong runners and he'll have opportunities to get forward and support the strikers, i'd imagine.

good to see fabio at left back.

Like the look of that side. To be fair, a couple of those changes are just first teamers returning (Rio and Rooney) but it's nice that he's actually giving youth a chance on the big stage (Fabio, Smalling, Gibson, Hernandez) but combining it with experience in Park and Fletcher.

Nice side, im expecting a 3-0 win minimum. How come no Berbatov, not even on the bench?

I gather he's resting Vidic, Evra, Nani and Berbatov for the vermin?

It's only Rangers. Huddersfield Town would be a tougher game.
