He's right though, Sparky can't wait for City to win the league.

You would think the authorities could at least do something to limit the ridiculous number of players the oil clubs send out on loan? As you say, just so their rivals can't have them

They’re now too accustomed to the money the oil clubs bring into the game to upset the applecart

I’d trust Dennis Wise in charge of the game before this lot

On top of that you can only have so many on loan(say 5)and none of these cant be loaned in the division the first team plays in.
Never understood how it’s allowed to have players on loan in the league you play in. Especially players who have international caps .Absolute conflict of interest.

Is anyone really in any doubt as to how poor the vast majority of this league is now?

A team winning 16 games on trot doesn't say much about the overall quality of the division i'm afraid.

Watching Watford v Huddersfield today was honestly like a mid-table championship scrap. Horrendous defending, scrappy goals bundled over the line and big fat cloggers crashing into each other. Instead, embarrassingly, these two are comfortably mid-table in the supposed 'best league in the world' ™

It's a damning indictment when a team who've scored 16 goals in 18 games sit 5th with a squad of players that you'd probably walk past in the street and not even recognise.

Team after team of huff n puff, average, championship level garbage all on a quest to not get relegated and keep the tv money gravy train rolling along, like strangers in paradise.

Any league that is done and dusted before Xmas is not a good league, simple as that.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the league done and dusted.

December 23rd. Barely 5 months in.

What a load of shit.

We need a 12 team league, play 4 times for 44 games and get rid of that league
cup give it to lower divisions.

Seems like Jamie Carragher agrees with me that this league is made up of a load of unambitious dross and that the premier league is now a joke.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo...Carragher.html

Speaking on Sky Sports, Carragher said: 'Not just Newcastle but the Premier League in general, when they come up against the top six, certainly at home, it's becoming embarrassing.

'The Premier League now is becoming a bit of a joke league, with the top teams being so far ahead of the ones at the bottom. For those clubs, its almost like they are accepting they are going to lose the game, as long as it is only one or two-nil.

'The Premier League has been built on every team having a go, that's why everyone around the world wants to watch it. Will they keep watching if they keep seeing football like that?'

To be fair the Newcastle side screams championship so to keep it tight wasn't a bad night. One chance, one 40 yarder and people would hail the tactics.

There are much better teams than Newcastle who have allowed City to roll them over. I fancy Palace at Selhurst will give their defence some work to do although it'll probably be 5-2 to City.

City won the league in November and if they pump more oil money into the squad and do the same next year thus turning the PL in to an over priced version of Scotland,France or German leagues then the FA,sky and BT will have to be concerned that it will kill what sets it apart and makes it a global brand.
TV money will reduce as customers won't subscribe at the current prices(pubs more so)and on top of that overseas players will not come here if they can earn more or less the same on the continent.

I think even city fans would not like a one horse race that is over by Christmas year on year.(saying that it would be funny that while they are lifting the trophy no @#%&! is watching)

It's great that Mourinho has such commitment to the Premier League brand that he now has us playing like absolute filth in every game, even against these shit teams who are barely worthy of sharing a pitch with us, just to keep the punters interested.

Paying the piper.
