Hi, my name is QWERTYUIOP and i'm not going to Moscow. I have a ticket however the the cost of the trip £1045 added to visa hassles and cost £100ish, plush beer money (£???) plus I would have to take unpaid leave means that the trip would be nudging £2000 for me .

I'm going to Moscow in July anyway and the game is on telly.

I'm not going. It would cost me about £3000 if I wanted to get to Moscow in the first place.

My dilemma is where I'm going to watch the £#%&!ing thing. The worst possible kick off time. 4.45am on a Wednesday - I can't even have a £#%&!ing beer. Although I may watch it on the couch and if we win go on the lash for the day leaving a vomit trail around town to find my way home.

I'm not going:

1) just had our 3rd child
2) Got a submission that has to be in that week for work
3) just spent over £100k on the £#%&!ing house
4) bought a 46" telly for my new cellar/den on saturday.
5) will watch it in town and make a very big day and night of it.

Mr_Ed isn't going. He's only been once since Uncle Malc took over so would be hypocritical if I went just because they've got to the final.

I will be watching in a watering hole somewhere local to the stable.

That can be a good wind-up too though, telling top reds that go regularly that you were able to go to Moscow through the money you saved from boycotting OT! they love that one

Know what you mean though, i could go if i wanted but it is hypocritical and to be honest it's so expensive that it's not good value, if tickets were available in the hundreds then maybe, but i'm seeing 1600 quid and thats obscene imo.

It won't be with a ticket if I do obviously but there's the offer of a trip.

Not me, not been since I sacked my ST in 2005 (top Red me ) so can hardly expect a ticket for this. Plus the cost is way over what I could afford. Will be in the settee end with a case of beer

Sorry, my strange expression - I have either the Settee End, Armchair End or Kitchen End depending on which TV I'm watching it on. Will probably end up behind the settee at some point
