Does Eric not do this? He's still doing ads in Britain 16 years after he retired. An excuse to knock one player down over another. Use Scholes as a different character reference to DB, not Eric.

You simply can't compare Eric with db . The latter made a conscious effort to brand himself on 5 continents selling everything under the sun . The other is a genuine iconoclast who has a career outside of football
