Well not since the fall of republican Rome. And look how that turned out. :RIC:

The final question of the evening to Scholes asked if he saw himself in the dug-out in the future.

The head was no longer bowed, he visibly appeared to stiffen his back, and he confirmed that was exactly what he wanted.

Would love the next manager to get Scholesy properly involved and see what he's like in a backroom team. He's an impressive talker.

Big Klopper and a couple of his experienced coaches, with Giggsy and Scholesy working alongside him

Garth Crooks is hilariously bad. Someone like Paul Merson is at least a figure of fun and is like a sweet, dim village idiot. Garth a crooks thinks he's reeeeally clever and is so pompous you can't help but laugh. And he looks like a koala bear..which can only be a good thing.

Garth Crooks is the football equivalent of that %@#$&! played by Ernie Hudson in The Hand That Rocks The Cradle. Probably dropped off outside the BBC every morning in a 'Center for Exceptional People' care bus and plays on his bike all day ringing its bell up and down the studio coridoors.

On Giggs becoming manager...

A horse which has done well out of doors is not one to be stabled.

Thank you.

I have a share in a horse that won at Glorious Goodwood last year and then repeated the trick at Ascot three weeks later. He lives in a stable.
