Created the penalty through a great pass and defended well for a forward.

Good player, he just needs too many chances to score unfortunately for us

Plus we dont keep the ball well enough in midfield to bring the best out of him, he makes a lot of runs off the ball and is rarely found (excluding Pogba)

that being said, apart from Gabriel Jesus none of the big money strikers are pulling up trees for their respective clubs and taking a look at the whats available on the market at mo, there's not out there tbh. Lukaku was a great option given his experience in the league and goal scoring record, just a shame he hasn't settled as quickly as required

sucks to be him this week.

whattaboutism at its finest, who £#%&!ing cares about Rooney? He doesn't play for us anymore mate, let him be

Lukaku was poor, full stop. No need to point the fingers at ex players.

Because they were talking about Rooney.

Is this one of those situations where ‘someone’ brings up how much better things were two years ago and then if you reply you’re accused of being obsessed with Van Gaal?

Not seen a replay and was at the far end of the ground- but should he have scored that chance at the end or was it just a good save?

Probably should have scored.

Lucky save, but he was dirt for 94minutes

Right at him. Wasn't that great a save. Easy to say when you're watching on telly I guess.

Also easy to say but had he not been directly responsible for their two goals I doubt he'd have missed, it had to have played on him. He has to just chalk it down as a bad day. Irritating because there won't be another chance, but hey life is shit.

Not even a good save tbh, it just hit him in the face. Lukaku put it in pretty much the only place he could have stopped it. From four yards

Is just so lazy. Everytime he loses out you can almost see him sighing that hes got to challenge back. Rashford would be so much better as this sort of no9.
