It would be 1-0 to Ireland. Seriously. Just like the last time we played and your mates ripped up seats and killed 10 people. OK 10 people may not have died directly in relation to the riots but I'd imagine 10 died somewhere that night, infact going by the laws of physics, hundreds of people died that night. Are you saying that it's worth killing a thousand children just because you're losing 1-0 to us? because if you are, hello!?

Old delusions persist. "No Surrender to the IRA" is sung with renewed gusto, years after the Good Friday agreement, James Milner talks of other countries "raising their game against England", as if lowering St George's flag is some kind of historic feat, and energy and thrust in qualifiers is still mistaken for tournament-winning potential.

Seriously Traps has it sorted. The only way we lose is when the other side cheat and England are not cheaters.

not gonna lie and pretend ive watched you lot play a game but theres no way it could happen, doesnt matter how boring/defensive you play, people like rooney and gerrard will cut you up eventually.

i actually pray you fluke qualification and we get you in the group stages of the euros.

Really?

Oh really?

Like what they did against USA, Slovenia (seriously 2m people) and some jerk nation from North Africa that we beat two weeks before about 3-0.

So if we both got to the Euros I wouldn't be bothered. England couldn't beat poo from their pants when it matters. That's not an insult btw, it's just an observation.

Imo at Gibbo's age he should really be looking for first team football

Its all well and good not wanting to leave a club of Uniteds stature but his development as a player should be paramount

Stoke wouldnt be such a bad option

When Fletch was 23 he was excelling in champions league quarter and semi finals, Hard domestic away ties and being more than a back up to premier league winning teams.

bit strong that, especially considering he was virtually overlooked for the entire 07/08 CL winning campaign

he was way ahead of where Gibson is though wasn't he

Yeah fair point but the season before, he had cracking games against AC milan etc..

Like Fletch was, if hargreaves was fit, gibson wouldnt be anywhere near the first team.
