Default Notice how often average sides come to Old Trafford

And get themselves 2 or 3 goals? In the last 12 months, this has happened against Hull(3), CSKA(3), Villa, Spurs, Liverpool(4) , Porto, Sunderland etc...

Goes to show the fear factor from 06/07 and 07/08 has just totally disappeared....or is it our players complacency.

It's because the defense is changing alot and aging. 06/07 was three seasons ago.
It really is £#%&!ing obvious to anyone who's been watching football.

thought 08 was only 12months ago. what the £#%&! time is it?

i think it's down to the opposition getting complacent about getting the fear factor. lazy @#%&!s.

by the way - anyone notice our socks seems to be slightly different from the 1912 season. either our kitman has gone to sleep or things just change over time. hmm....

Yeah noticed that the other day but didn't want to say anything.

Anyone notice how Irwin isn't on the team sheet anymore? He was there for almost most games during the 1990s but I could swear I haven't seen him play in quite some time now.

yes they were so complacent they didn't win any of those games or come from behind or clinch it in the last minutes

there is some heavy competition at the moment but you're on my shortlist for #@&%!sprocket of the year without a shadow of a doubt

Anyone notice that Aloe really only focusses on the negatives when it comes to United, doesn't have a good word to say about the team.

What good is there to say atm?

Our most important player other than Rooney is Scholes and hes 35, did you see how he played last night, we dont have that sort of play in any of our other midfielders consistently.

he is 35 and soon to retire, its very sad and the hole in our team is already quite evident.

Scholes was nearly as important as Ronaldo in our return to the summit of English football. i said this 2 years ago and its looking very obvious.

2 points off the top of the league, qualified for the next round of Champion s LEague with 2 games to spare, still in the Carliong Cup and FA Cup. What more do you want?

We've lost a big player and he's a big miss. But we're still doing ok. You probably don't remember but before 2006 we were well known for having slow starts to the season. We pick up the pace in January and generally go on to win trophies.

unless you're a miserable @#%&! like you, lots:

2nd in the league, 2 pts behind the leaders (achieved whilst playing average - the key to winning titles)

through to the group stages with two games to spare

keys players coming back from injury (fletch, the cougar)

some promising talent emerging (valencia is improving as well)

berbatov improving on an hourly basis - goals and motm performances

and liverpool having a mare

the problem is you're a spoilt @#%&!. i remember life before sky and i would've killed for the position we're in now football wise. off-field, we're £#%&!ed, but that's not what you're moaning about is it?

We'll be 5 pts off the top come Sunday, we have looked POOR all season, our key attacker and player in general only scores in purple patches.. we are in big trouble.

Also, our Cl group is very average.
