Always seems to be the same with the African teams. Start lively and strong, great or bursting through midfield in numbers and nothing. Just panic and give it away.
Then inevitably lose collective concentration in the second half and then lose their tempers. Very naive kind of football and makes it good to watch. Well, better than watching an asian team.
Who was it that managed Japan a few years back. One of the great Brazilians from around 1982 I think. He said the Japanese, or Koreans too, had technical ability but were terrified of doing something wrong so they wouldn't take chances or risks. Football mimicking Culture innit. I think it's fascinating.
