I liked today's performance. First half was a bit non-eventful before the goals, but it was good to see United knocking it about patiently knowing their chance would come. However poor Leicester are, it can always be difficult to play against such negativity, but United did a good professional job without getting silly and leaving ourselves too open on the break. Nice to see some clinical finishing, too.

No slip-ups in these next two home games, please.

We actually did miss a few, in each half. Good that for once in history it didn't cost us.

Had a mixed reaction from the lads I watched with tbf. Leicester clearly utterly abysmal and first half was a bit slow.

Good, professional measured performance imo.

Yeah a few when ahead but Mhki was obviously a very composed finish and Zlat scored with his first chance, no?

Forget the chance before that which Schmeichel saved.

They just thought Leicester were shite. They were, but it's easy to get frustrated against a team that just doesn't want to play. So it was good to see us do the job in a nice calm way. Much much better than Wednesay night against Hull, who also tried to spoil.

Yeah agreed, they were £#%&!ing awful today- but we finally decided it was a good idea to score the chances we created, which was handy.

love the fact mourinho went 4-4-2, and top marks for changing it early

along with his recent round of £#%&!s to the press we're starting to see the real deal jose now...

we missed some great opportunities to make easy chances but some of the moves today were ace... the rashford chance was brilliantly worked, zlatan's goal as well... still think mata should have passed it for zlatan to walk it in but yet another goal for the little maestro

Yeah, but it was also just a very polished performance. Knocked it around nicely. Just keep it going now

Very positive selection, too. Disappointed Martial wasn't involved but Pogba-Herrera in midfield with Rashford-Mata-Mhki all selected

If there is a good time to miss a sitter, its in the closing seconds when we are already 3-0 up. Got that, Mata?

valencia in midfield?

herrera is looking highly upgradeable to me right now.

I thought herrera and pogba were very good today, particularly pogba who put a real shift in.

Yep, think Pogba realised without Carrick there he needed to be more sensible/disciplined and it seemed to help his game. Was excellent like you say.

Not good enough in midfield for where we want to go. Temporary choice I reckon. Mou will upgrade at some point.

Herrera still gave the ball away and his stupid pass led to Poggers being booked

not good enough imo and he won't be a first pick next season

He's good where he is becuase it both limits his huge frailties and emphasises his strengths.

Re Herrera, has been less obvious to me than perhaps to others no doubt but Herrera's weaknesses seem to get exposed more in a semi functioning midfield. Can see him being shipped at some point. Shame, becuase he's improved under mou but still isn't up to much.

Anyway, a lovely win and good patient performance.

safety first, back to goal, popping it off the way he's facing, like he can hear pounding hooves all the time even when there's no-one close...

struggling to remember even one time he's gone past zlatan lately.

Quote from him a few weeks back that suggested Mourinho has had to work hard with him on his positional discipline and make him more reserved in terms of getting forward. Was a big problem especially during the early months of his first season and I don't think he's mastered it yet. When he was at Bilbao, Bielsa used him a lot further up the pitch, which I'd say is his best position. A poor signing in that respect because I think LvG thought he was getting a central midfielder, but quickly started to distrust him there.
