No wonder Real are half a billy in debt with that carry-on.

So if United were to sign Bale, Real have to pay Spurs £10m?

Makes the Martial deal look like a Bosman.

Even "real" money isn't real, it's a promise to give them a certain amount of gold should they ever ask for it. The gold was obviously an inconvenience to actually cart about so we started swapping the promises of the gold instead. Now we don't even have the real gold anymore

Genuinely thought my comment about fees being real would be ridiculed - turns out I turned Fred into an economics forum.

Correctingtons. Literally it's just digital numbers in the ether. As that nice chap in the video explained, we get a printout of our wages (unless you work for bellers), pay for the roof over your head and your car via a monthly payment, wave a card over a machine for food and whatnot.... mental.

Actually, it's people who define an inanimate, almost imaginary construct such as money as 'evil' who are mental. But that's another conversation.

It's not real.
All pissed off because they can still only draw £250 out of a cash point at a time.....

"Gonna see if that Ronaldo money has gone in....oh £#%&! that, it charges you £1.75!"

Physical money is just an iou. That's why it says 'I promise to pay the bearer..' etc
