UEFA should be embarrassed that they allow a top european club football tournament to be played on that.

There should be no excuses for it. If they can't sustain a grass pitch they should be made to invest in a 3G artificial pitch or be turfed out of the tournament.

He is only 32 as well, no reason why he could not go to another club, could still be playing for another 3/4 years at a decent level.
