Default Robbie Keane to sign for the dippers for £18 million in the next 24 hours.

According to the beeb ticker. Wonder if that affects any Berbatov signing? i'd imagine it ends any chance of Barry going there?

I don't think it changes anything tbh. He wants to leave anyway.

The Barry deal has been in the balance for a while now. Ever since Juve went for Poulsen ahead of Alonso the vermin became less interested. They just don't seem to have the cash do they? If they can sell Alonso I expect Barry to sign.

They can have him for 18million. I doubt we'll sign Berbatov, just Tevez.

Transfer of the century right there.

It puts an end to the Berbatov bollox though. SAF has admitted such.

There's no way we can try and get through another season with just Rooney and Tevez, particularly with Ronnie out for 3 months even if he stays.

We no that, but were not the manager.

Tevez, good player but never worth £32million.

I think Fergie knows we need a forward better than anyone, he's stated it on a number of occasions.

I don't believe we are paying £32 million for Tevez, not unless his contract is included in that.

It will include his contract. I can't believe some people still quote prices from the press. We have already paid £10 million for Tevez so we are hardly going to pay £32 million outright as well.

Villa may be about to offer him a new contract with certain "escape" clauses I heard this morning.

Given that Levy was quite explicit only two weeks ago in saying that Keane wouldn't be sold....

Quote:
"The behaviour of both clubs has been disgraceful. We told both clubs very early on that we had no interest in selling Robbie or Dimitar, respectively, and that they should refrain from pursuing the player."
...it's quite clear that nothing is ruled out, except that Levy is a hypocritical tosser.

As to the Scousers, well Benitez has spent 3 months after a midfielder, presumably to provide a platform for Gerrard and Torres to play further forward and now he's gone and bought a forward. Either Keane plays wide or Gerrard plays deeper. These don't look like the actions of a man with a plan.
